The purpose of this site is to share information on implementing programs as well as to share resources on curriculum design, instructional materials, assessment tools, and useful links. Information on our site is particularly targeted toward parents and students, teachers, current and future program directors, and consultants, such as STARTALK’s team leaders and site visitors.

STARTALK 2009 Pre- and Post-program Surveys Now Online
The Pre- and Post-program surveys for STARTALK 2009 summer program participants are now available at http://startalk.umd.edu/survey. Returning summer program participants who took the survey in 2008 may log in using the accounts they created last year. If you cannot remember your login information from 2008, you may reset your password or create a new account. New participants should create an account. The pre-program surveys can be filled out from 2 weeks before a program starts until the second day of the program, and the post-program surveys from the third-to-last day of the program until 2 weeks after the program ends.
Detailed STARTALK 2009 Summer Program Lists Available
Detailed lists of the 2009 summer programs are now available. You can view a list of all programs, just student programs, or just teacher programs. Each of those lists can be further narrowed by choosing a language and/or state.
